Alison Tracy Dean

Alison Tracy Dean, 52, of Orange St. Waterbury, unexpectedly entered eternal life on January 20, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Alison was born in Waterbury on March 17, 1962 daughter of Matthew and Olivia (Gauthier) Dean.  She was employed by WARC as a job coordinator for people with DDS.  She was a gentle soul who had a passion for helping all that needed her loving support.  Alison loved animals, flowers, and vegetable gardening.  Her greatest joy in life was in caring for her beloved family.   She leaves to cherish her memory her Father Matthew Dean of Waterbury Ct. Her beloved son, Mack Antoine Abney of Waterbury; the son of her heart, Shawn Quevy of PA; her brothers, Mr. Erik Dean of FL, and Mr.& Mrs. Aaron Dean of Waterbury; her sister, Delicia Dean of NC; Her companion, with whom she resided Ronnie Burton of Waterbury Ct. Her cherished grandchildren, Davion Divine Abney, Aviana Abney of Newington Ct, and Aubrey Kipping of Waterbury. She is also survived by her step father Richard Lewis of FL, many nieces, nephews and devoted friends.  She was predeceased by her sister Sharon Dean.  A Celebration of her life will be held at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ, 101 East Farm Street, Waterbury CT on Thursday January 29, 2015 at 10:00 am with Pastor Raymond L. Berger officiating.   Funeral services are in the care of the Anthony V.
