Andrea "Dolly" Flach, 81, of Seymour, entered eternal life on Wednesday July 23, 2025, at Griffin Hospital, with her devoted family at her side. "Dolly" was born in Derby on September 8, 1943, beloved daughter of Andrew John Elasko and Pearl Veronica (Mitrich) Elasko. She was a 1961 graduate of Derby High School and was very proud to have been a majorette for several years. She loved dancing, shopping, watching old sitcoms, and sharing coffee with Evelyn. She raised her sons in a supportive neighborhood filled with extended family and friends. She worked in Customer Service at the former Klarides Supermarket as well as in the Bake Shop at Stop & Shop. Dolly was devoted to her family and enjoyed cookouts and attending the soccer and football games of her grandsons. She also enjoyed birthday and holiday celebrations where she shared her favorite dishes of kielbasa and sauerkraut and sweet meatball appetizer. She faced many challenges during her life and met each one with grace, determination, and courage. Dolly will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Joseph and his wife Alana of Oxford, Robert and his wife Marilyn of Litchfield, Kevin of Seymour, and Andrew and Danielle of Oxford. Cherished grandchildren: Ryan Flach and his wife Kait and their son Jameson; Timothy Flach and his wife Emily; Victoria Garcia, Madison, Sabrina, Maya, Kiarra, Leala, Kora, Landon, James and Dior. She is also survived by the sister of her heart, Evelyn Molner, and many dear friends.
