Anne T. Fernino, 100, of Bungay Terrace Seymour entered eternal rest on July 19, 2018 at the Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton. She was the beloved widow of Pasquale Fernino. Anne was born in Seymour on Feb. 18, 1918, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Turek) Nasatka. She was employed by the Peter Paul, Cadbury Co. for many years. She was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Seymour. Anne was a member of the Seymour and Ansonia Senior Centers and joined them on many bus trips. In addition, she loved traveling to Florida, Las Vegas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas, as well as forays to the Mohegan Sun. She was an avid gardener growing both vegetables and flowers. She had a life-long love of Polka music and dancing. With their grace and expertise, she and her beloved husband won many dancing contests. Anne and her sister, Sophie Kozloski were known as the "Polka Twins". In addition to her husband, Pasquale, she was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Karlak, Stella Kopec, and Theresa (Tessie) Hurley, and her niece, Theresa Pardy. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Patricia Lucuk of Seymour; sisters, Sophie Kozloski and Valerie Nasatka; and nieces & nephews, Sharon, Bernie, Jason, Christopher and April Pardy, Richard Kozloski, Carol Tichy, Kenny and Robert Kopec. Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial directly at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour on Wed. July 25 th at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Anne's family would like to thank the staff of the Bishop Wicke Health Care Center for their compassionate care, friendship, and support. Arrangements are in care of the Anthony V.
