Comfort was a loving, caring and hospitable wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was born on February 10, 1936 in Ghana to the late Akwasi Anane and Akosua Pokuah. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1964, and served Jehovah faithfully till her death. One of her greatest joys was sharing her beautiful faith that God's promise of a paradise earth is a reality Also, she helped others to come into a relationship with Jehovah her loving heavenly father. Everyone who knows and has met her have come to see and experience her generosity. She will be missed very much. Her children watched in admiration as they witnessed how hospitable and kind she was to strangers and always gave material assistance to all who needed her help and always opened her home for all.

Now she awaits Jehovah's promise of the resurrection here on earth as one of her favorite scripture mentions at John 5: 2829

"… the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…"

We all miss her cooking, baking and always spiritual encouragement. Her beautiful and infectious smile will sorely be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents,:Akwasi Anane (Father) and Akosua Pokuah(Mother), Solomon Kwabena Ampong (Step Father), siblings Rose Ampong(sister): children; John Atta (Son) She is survived by her children: Rosemary Adwubi (Seymour, CT), Joyce and Kenneth Sarfo (Ansonia, CT), Peter Appiah and family (Maryland,) Peter Kyenkyehene and family (Minnesota), grandchildren; Abishag OwusuAfriyie, Simon Amankwaah Sarkodie, Kwabena Sarfo, Richard Sarfo and Peter Appiah Jr.; siblings Charles Ampong and family(London), Simon Ampong and family(London), John Sarpong and family (Canada), Akwasi Boakye and family (Ghana), Osei Hwedee and family(Ghana), Agnes Pokuah and family (Maryland) ; Yaa Tiwaah and family (Ghana) and many nephews and neices and grand nephews and grand nieces in Ghana, London, Canada and United States of America.
