David Lavigne, Sr.

David Lavigne, Sr., 62, of Waterbury, entered eternal life on December 26, 2025, at his place of residence after a long illness.  David was born in Waterbury, beloved son of the late David A. Lavigne and Christine Neuswanger Lavigne.  He graduated from Pomperaug High School in Southbury and Denver College of Automotive and Diesel.  He was employed as a machinist for many years until his disability retirement.  In his healthier days he enjoyed fishing, auto racing and horses.  In the sunset of his life, he watched westerns and mystery movies and listened to music. David was a kindhearted soul who shared whatever he had with others.  He leaves many devoted friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Lynn Lavigne; brothers, Mark and Wayne Lavigne; and dear friend Donna.  Funeral services, which are all private, have been entrusted to the care of the Anthony V.
