Donald Colbert Pelletier, 74, of Oxford, unexpectedly entered eternal life on Thursday February 29, 2024, at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Debra Deely Pelletier. Don was born in Bridgeport on January 4, 1950, beloved son of William Pelletier and Jeannie Mucherino Pelletier. He attended St. Joseph's Grammer School and was a graduate of Masuk High School in Monroe. He was employed as a Judicial Marshal for the State of Connecticut until his retirement. Don lived life to the fullest and had many interests and hobbies including photography, deep sea fishing, gastronomy, and traveling. He enjoyed exploring new destinations including Nova Scotia, Aruba, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Paris, Amsterdam, Germany, and a memorable cross-country trip on his beloved Harley. In addition to his wife, Debra, he is survived by his brother, James Pelletier of Woodbury; brothers in law, Robert Deely, and Chief Patrick Deely; nieces, Kristen Deely-Howe and her husband Eric, and Elisa Deely; nephews, Michael Deely and his wife Molly, and Sean Deely; and great nephews, Henry, Luke, and Guy Robert. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends. Funeral services which are private have been entrusted into the care of the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave. Seymour, CT.
