Evo Biondi, 92, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2017. He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Norma Poeta Biondi. He was born in Seymour, son of the late Lino and Philomina (Buzzetti) Biondi. He was employed by Uniroyal, Seymour Parks Department, Seymour Board of Education, and St. Augustine Cemetery. He was an enthusiastic fan of the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, UCONN Women's Basketball, and all the movies starring John Wayne. He enjoyed coaching Seymour Little League and Babe Ruth baseball when his son played. In addition to his beloved wife, Norma Biondi, he is survived by his loving family including his son, John (Kathy) Biondi; daughters, Diane (Richard) Sosnovich, Linda (Kevin) Brown, and Nancy (Jeffrey) Perry; grandchildren, Richard Sosnovich, Jr., Kevin Brown, Jr., Robert Jr. and Daniel Bolduc, Stacey and Eric Brown, and Jordan Perry; great grandchildren, Samantha Sosnovich, Lillian and Shawn Wrigley, and Joseph Brown. He was predeceased by his brother, Eugene Biondi and sister, Ann Kravac. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, at 10:30 am at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave. Seymour for a 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church 25 Maple Ave. Beacon Falls with Rev. Leonard J. Kvedas officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30am.
