Florence Torrice Lombardi

Florence Torrice Lombardi of Oakville entered eternal life on Saturday April 11, 2020 in the comfort of her own home with her family at her side. She was the beloved widow of William Lombardi, Sr. Florence was born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Patty (Uva) Torrice. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her expertise in preparing anything Italian. She enjoyed watching movies especially musicals. Florence was a kind and gentle woman who devoted her life to the care and comfort of her family. Her loving support and gentle ways will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her beloved husband, William Lombardi, Sr., she was predeceased by her brothers, Francis Torrice and Louis Dadamo; and her sister, Ann Dadamo Rose. She is survived by her devoted children, William Lombardi, Jr. and his wife Diane, of Middlebury, David Lombardi and his wife Catherine, of Watertown, and Patricia Lombardi of Oakville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many dear friends.
Due to the current restrictions on social gatherings, all funeral services are private.   Interment will be in the family plot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
