Frances Hessler

Frances Tetlak Hessler, 91, of Bethany entered eternal rest on June 9, 2014 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  She was the widow of the late Arthur Hessler.  Frances was born in Oxford on August 26, 1922, daughter of the late John and Mary (Rydzgy) Tetlak.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge.  She devoted her life to the care and joy of her family and friends.  In addition to her beloved husband, Arthur, she was predeceased by her sisters:  Sophia Cooper of Southbury, Helen Demovich of Bridgeport, Jenna Pudim of Seymour, Josephine Hein and Agnes Schiavi, both of Oxford.  Mrs. Hessler is survived by her daughter Nancy and her husband Stuart Kozan of Bethany; and grandchildren Mary Frances Kozan and Philip Arthur Kozan  of Bethany. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 14 ^th at 9:30am at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home 47 Washington Ave. Seymour for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Assumption Church 81 Center Road Woodbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery Seymour.  Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 8:30am.  To leave an on line condolence please visit www.chepulisfuneralhome.com
