Gary Onofrio

Gary Onofrio, 68, of Oxford peacefully entered eternal life on Sunday November 24, 2024, at Griffin Hospital with his family by his side.  Gary was born in New Haven on February 18, 1956, beloved son of the late Raymond Onofrio and Ann Marie (Fattore) Onofrio. He was a graduate of West Haven High and the University of New Haven where he earned a Master's Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics. He was employed as a Chemical Engineer at CHR Company of New Haven.  He enjoyed coin collecting and art, especially drawing and watercolor painting.

Gary is survived by his devoted brother, Stephen Onofrio, Sr., sister-in-law, Kathryn Onofrio; son, Andrew Onofrio; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.  He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.  Funeral Services, which are private, have been entrusted to the care of the Anthony V.
