Jeanette Eleanor Jankowski Tosolini

Jeanette E. Tosolini, 98, of Seymour, entered eternal rest on Friday June 3, 2017. She was the widow of Gino L. Tosolini and a life long Seymour resident. Jeanette was born in Derby on Oct 27, 1918, daughter of the late Vincent and Eleanor (Karczmarazyk) Jankowski. She held several jobs during her career including positions at Waterman Bic, Heritage Village, and the Naugatuck Rubber Co. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed being a homemaker and devoted her life to caring for her family. In addition to her beloved husband, Gino, she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Jankowski. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Mudry (Mike) of Beacon Falls; her son, Laurence Tosolini (Mary) of Ansonia; and her sister, Florence Connors of Beverly MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lauren, Michelle, Christy, Lee, and Michael; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wed. June 7 ^th at 9:30 am at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave. Seymour for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church with Rev. Kevin Forsyth presiding. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tues. from 4-7pm, and Wed from 9am.
