Lorraine Ann Goodmaster, 69, of Woodbridge unexpectedly entered eternal life on Wednesday September 4, 2019 at her home. Lorraine was born in New Haven on August 24, 1950, beloved daughter of the late Frank Goodmaster and Czeslawa (Ann) Konieczka Goodmaster. She was a 1979 graduate of the University of New Haven and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. She was employed by the telephone company for over forty years and saw the transition from the Southern New England Telephone Company to AT & T and ultimately Frontier Communications. She enjoyed hiking, especially along the shore, and spending time outdoors exploring the beauty of nature. She was previously associated with the New Haven Hiking Club and the Appalachian Mountain Club. She had a special fondness for animals, especially her cats. She was very passionate about healthy living and embraced homeopathy and naturopathic remedies. She was a devout Christian. She is survived by her brother, retired Seymour Police Detective, Sgt. Ronald Goodmaster and his wife Gretchen of Naugatuck; nieces, Nicolle Barrett and her husband Brian, and Ashley Wuelfing and her husband Eric, and nephew Zachary Goodmaster and his wife Lauren. She is also survived by her great nieces, Kylee Barrett, Lola Goodmaster, and Ava Wuelfing; and great nephews, Brett Barrett and Weston Goodmaster. A Memorial Service will be held at the Anthony Chepulis Funeral Home 47 Washington Ave., Seymour, on Friday September 13 th from 9:00am – 11:00am.
