Lourdes Espada-Serra

Lourdes Espada-Serra, 54, of West Palm Beach, FL, entered eternal life on August 11, 2016.  Lourdes was born in Brooklyn NY on November 25, 1961 daughter of Angelo Espada and Carmen Serra. She was raised in Meriden before moving to West Palm Beach. She loved the times she spent in Aguirre Puerto Rico.  She had a kind and generous spirit and always found a way to help others any way she could.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling and photography.  She loved the beach and had a passion for animals.  Lourdes was a trained Medical Assistant at Vision Center on Congress Ave. in Plantana, FL. She will always be in our hearts and will be missed forever.  Lourdes is survived by her beloved husband, Carlos Lebron; devoted daughter, Elizabeth Espada-Badillo; cherished grandchildren Carlos Rivera, Jr., John Espada, Victor Ortiz, and Santo Ortiz; brothers, Jhon Espada and Miguel Espada; dear niece, Yolanda Diaz; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 21 from 4-8:00pm at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave. Seymour, CT 06483.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 22 at 9:30 am at the Funeral Home, for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave. Seymour with Rev. Will R. Malave officiating.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 Gypsy Lane Meriden, CT.
