Mark Joseph Sanzo, devoted husband, adoring father, and loving family man passed into eternal rest at the age of 63, December 28, 2024. He was a resident of East Haven, formerly of Seymour and Shelton. Mark, a man of unwavering courage, infallible dedication to family and friends was born to Joseph and the late Sharon (Barrows) Sanzo on February 26th, 1961, in Derby. He attended Northeastern University in pursuit of a degree in pharmacology. He was a lifelong employee of the State of CT D.D.S. In his spare time, he was an avid sports and auto sports enthusiast as well as a lover of music. Spending much time at local and national raceways, sporting venues and concerts. He was a dedicated supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Red Sox, and UCONN sports teams. He was a lover of Pink Floyd, seeing the band numerous times throughout his life. Mark was a much loved and appreciated person for his personality, wit, and sense of humor. Always the life of the party and the solace and comfort when things were bleak. He was unfaltering in his loyalty; and his love knew no bounds. He'll be remembered most for being an outstanding and loving husband, brother, father and son. He was a man that would place the world on his back to help others. He is survived by his cherishing wife Karen, his loving and loyal children, Christine and Stephen Sanzo. His father, Joseph Sanzo. His two brothers, Jeffery (Charisse) Sanzo and Rick (Darlene) Sanzo. As well as his nephew; Joseph and two nieces; Nicole and Danielle. He was predeceased by his beloved mother Sharon and his adored niece Brittnay. May Heaven's gates spread and welcome him home with open arms.
