Muriel Hook

Muriel H. Hook, 96, of East Haven and formerly of Seymour, entered eternal rest on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Apple Laurel Woods Rehabilitation Center in East Haven. Muriel was the beloved widow of Peter Hook. Muriel was born in New Britain on February 22, 1922, daughter of the late Harold and Emma Bernasconi Houck. She was a bookkeeper for Stanley Works Inc. of New Britain. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Seymour for many years and a past member of the Seymour Grange. Muriel was a gentle, quiet woman who in later years treasured her privacy. In addition to her beloved husband, Peter, she was predeceased by her dear friend, Nancy Marshall. She is survived by her devoted and greatly beloved friends Angela Parnagian, Christine and Anthony Esposito, and Robert and Dorothy Marshall. Per her request all funeral services are private.
