Norma (Poeta) Biondi, 92, of Beacon Falls, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 30, 2021. She was born in Ansonia to Luigi and Maria (Paradisi) Poeta. She was the beloved wife of the late Evo Biondi for 68 years. She lived most of her life in Seymour before moving to Beacon Falls. She was a parishioner of St. Augustine Church in Seymour and St. Michael's Church in Beacon Falls. Norma was predeceased by her brothers: John, Joseph, William, Victor, and Louis Poeta.If you needed her, she was there for you, whether you were family or friends. Her door was always open as well as her kitchen. She leaves her loving family to cherish her memories, including, children: John Biondi (Katherine), Diane Sosnovich (Richard), Linda Brown (Kevin), and Nancy Perry (Jeffery). Brother: Albert Poeta (Frances). Grandchildren: Richard Sosnovich (Rachel), Robert and Daniel Bolduc, Jordan Perry, Kevin Brown (Alissa), Stacey Brown, and Eric Brown (Nicole). Great grandchildren: Samantha Sosnovich, Shawn and Lilly Wrigley, Joseph and Brody Brown, Evo Battis and Valerie Brown. Funeral services will be held at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home 47 Washington Ave. Seymour, on Thursday Oct 7 at 10:30am for a 11:00 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, 25 Maple Ave. Beacon Falls with Fr. Joy Jacob, SDB officiating. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour. Friends are invited to greet the family at the funeral home from 8:30am until mass time. Facial covering and social distancing will be appreciated. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Norma's honor may be made to the Alzheimers Association of CT 200 Executive Blvd S #4B, Southington CT 06489 or Seymour Pink P.O.
