Phyllis D. Siglinger

Phyllis Donahue Siglinger, 85, formerly of Hodge Ave. Ansonia, entered eternal rest on Friday November 29th at Shady Knoll Convalescent Home in Seymour surrounded by her loving family.  Phyllis was born in Derby on October 30, 1928, daughter of the late Jeremiah Donahue and Mary Comerford Donahue.  She was the wife of the late Richard L. Siglinger, Sr.  She was a communicant of Assumption Church in Ansonia and a member of the Valley Square Dancing Club.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.  Phyllis was employed by the Anaconda American Brass Company as a keypunch operator until her retirement in 1985.  Her greatest passion and focus in life was in the care of her beloved family.  She worked long hours and overcame many obstacles to provide for those that she loved.  She is survived  by her devoted son, Richard (Red) Siglinger of Ansonia; beloved daughters: Anne Henderson and her husband Bob of Ansonia, Marie Litke and her husband Gary of Ansonia, and Pat Soderberg of Seymour.  In addition to her grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, she is survived by her brothers in law Bob Daly of Woodbridge and Robert Zuraw of Ansonia; and her sister in law Nancy Donahue of Ansonia.  Phyllis was predeceased by her brother, Jeremiah Donahue; and sisters Mary Zuraw and Catherine Daly.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 7th at 12 noon at the Church of the Assumption 61 North Cliff St. Ansonia. Friends are invited to meet the family directly at Church. Funeral Services have been entrusted to the Anthony V.
