Theresa M. Bombard Templeton, 90, of Susan St. Beacon Falls, entered eternal life on Friday September 18 th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late Thomas Templeton. Theresa was born on April 22, 1925, in Rome, NY, daughter of the late Alexander Bombard and Eva Bova Bombard. Theresa was a determined and resourceful woman who enjoyed a variety of careers. Early on, she was an artist for runway models, showcasing the fashions of the day. She was a manager for Michael's Jewelry Store in Bridgeport, then she attended Business School. She was employed by Bridgeport Hospital for 42 years. Initially she worked in the Cafeteria, and took advantage of the many opportunities that came her way for advancement. She retired as a Business Manager/Accountant Supervisor who had responsibility for the of direction of a full staff of employees. Theresa was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Beacon Falls. She enjoyed crocheting, solving puzzles and spending time with her devoted family. In addition to her Husband and Parents, she was predeceased by her infant Brother, and the Grandmother that raised her. Theresa is survived by her loving daughter, Dianne Defonce of Beacon Falls, with whom she resided; son in law, William Defonce; beloved granddaughters, Dianne Defonce of Beacon Falls, and Theresa Ardito, and her husband, Jay, of Beacon Falls; her cherished great granddaughter, Elizabeth Ardito; and step-brother Edward Bombard of Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at 10 am, (DIRECTLY) at St. Michael's Church, 25 Maple Ave. Beacon Falls with the Rev. Leonard Kvedas officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farms Rd., Trumbull. The Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave. Seymour is assisting the family.
