Bethlehem Ambulance Association

Bethlehem Ambulance was formed in 1977 to provide emergency medical transportation for the town of Bethlehem. Bethlehem Ambulance is staffed entirely by volunteers who either live or work in town. When you call 911, Bethlehem Ambulance members respond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Alzheimers Association

The Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter is the primary source of information and support to the hundreds of thousands of Connecticut residents dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. With our office centrally located in Southington, we are able to offer communities across the state 24/7 multilingual Helpline support, Family Training Seminars, Care Consultation, First Responder Training, Support Groups and Educational Programs for healthcare professionals, those dealing with this disease and the public. The chapter has influenced public policy changes and has provided support to dementia research in the hope of finding a cure. 


The Connecticut Chapter is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donor-supported organization. Programs and services are made possible through contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations.

Shriner's Hospital for Children

Shriners Hospitals for Children provides specialized care to children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of the families ability to pay. Generally, care is provided until age 18, although, in some cases it may be extended to age 21. All care and services are provided in a family-centered environment. 


Shriners Hospitals operates a network of 18 orthopedic hospitals, three hospitals dedicated to the treatment of severe burns, and one hospital that handles spinal cord injuries as well as orthopedic and burn care. Twenty of the 22 Shriners hospitals are located in the United States.

The Shrine of Lourdes in Litchfield

The Shrine of Lourdes in Litchfield is a replica of the Grotto Lourdes in France. Built of local fieldstone by two Montfort Brothers, Brother Alfonso and Brother Gabriel, with the help of Montfort seminarians and people from the area, the Shrine was dedicated in 1958.


The Montfort Missionaries developed the Shrine so that individuals, families and groups could come to pray, to reflect on their own lives, and to imitate Mary’s life of faithful discipleship.

Whiskers Pet Rescue of Southbury

Whiskers Pet Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue organization in Southbury, Connecticut. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We do not receive any government funding. Our rescue is funded entirely by donations from our supporters and adoption fees, plus a few grants that we apply for. We have approximately 140 volunteers as of 2023. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them in loving forever homes.


We are constantly rescuing new cats/kittens in need and we won’t rest until each and every one of them has found their forever family.

Mountain Meadows Cemetery

Mountain Meadows Cemetery was established in 1993 by the board members of the Trinity Cemetery Association, Inc. after careful thought and examination as to the needs of the community of Seymour, Connecticut, and outlying communities. The cemetery provides a sacred and appropriate place for the burial of the dead for people of all faiths.

Mt. St. Peters Cemetery

Consecrated in 1887, Mt. St. Peter Cemetery is located on 75 acres of park-like property overlooking the scenic Housatonic River in the Naugatuck Valley. Mt St Peter Cemetery offers a wide variety of in-ground burial options, Mausoleum Entombment in one of our three community mausoleums, cremation graves, niches and outdoor columbaria.
